Let our crews take care of preparing your yard for the growing season. Spring Clean Ups include blowing out trash, leaves and debris that have accumulated in landscaping and under the wet snow. Our commercial mowers are equipped with vacuum collection systems and a dethatcher rake on the front. The dethatcher tines breakup and pull out thatch simultaneously as the mower vacuums up the debris into its bagger to ensure your lawn is lush and green this season.
- Spring Clean-Up
Removal of all leaves, sticks, and any other yard debris from lawn, landscape beds, and surfaces. Debris will be placed in natural areas when available. If debris is hauled away by Lawn Rangers there will be an additional charge. Gutter cleaning is also offered. Spring and fall clean-up services create a clean and maintained property, while stimulating healthy lawn growth. Spring clean-up service is offered late April, early May.
- DeThatching
Thatch is the build-up of dead grass in a lawn which can suffocate new lawn growth. Dethatching is a power raking of the lawn offered to remove a percentage of dead thatch. Dethatching service is offered and recommended in late April or early May and again near the end of fall season.
- Fertilizer
Fertilizer is important for healthy, vigorous plant growth and development. Because many of the required nutrients for grass are found naturally in the soil, fertilization practices focus on the supply of three primary nutrients; nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium. Nitrogen is the only nutrient that grass needs on a regular basis. Lawns may occasionally be deficient in iron and fertilizers containing iron may be supplemented. As nitrogen is applied, both root and shoot growth increases. If too much nitrogen is applied too frequently, shoots will continue to grow yet root growth will slow, leaving the turf vulnerable to problems. Lawn Rangers offers 4, 5 and 6 step lawn application program depending on your lawns needs. These applications are applied starting in early spring through the late fall season. Using our system promote good lawn growth and healthy color.
